Katten og Tønden, March 8-9, 2025

This weekend on March 8-9 two notable Shrovetide concerts entitled Katten og Tønden — en kattemusikalsk fortælling for børn og voksne will take place in Copenhagen, more precisely in Frederiksberg Kirke on March 8 at 14 o’clock and Sct. Matthæus Kirke on March 9 at 14 o’clock. It’s two concerts that I have initiated and planned together with composer Birgitte Alsted and singer/actor Christine Skou. Music wise it’s gonna be some brand new by Birgitte Alsted and contributions by Stundom and percussionist/performer Ying-Hsueh Chen. Besides those already mentioned organ player Philip Schmidt-Madsen, singer Sara Amalie Heise and Andreas Thrane Sørensen as a “corporate” will be featured.
