Anker Buch Talent Prize 2024

Hi out there. I little positive piece of news to share with you before 2024 runs out: A few weeks ago I received the Anker Buch Talent Prize 2024. Anker Buch (1940-2014) was a Danish violinist who established a music prize in his name at the age of 60. He didn’t give any prize to anybody the last six years of his life where he was ill. Here in 2024, ten years after his death, Anker Buch’s son and daughter have decided to take up their father’s initiative by starting again to give away the Anker Buch Prize to somebody remarkable within the music world each year.

The Anker Buch Prize 2024 was given to actor, satirist, former clarinet player and much more Frederik Cilius. By being awarded the Anker Buch Prize 2024 Frederik Cilius had to choose a young person under 30 to get the Anker Buch Talent Prize 2024, and Frederik decided to let the talent prize be given to me. A huge thank to Frederik Cilius and Anker Buch’s son and daugther Søren and Kamilla for this talent prize award.
